Hi, I’m Morgan! I am beyond humbled, grateful and excited you are here. I am the Owner and Lead Planner of MBK Events. 

Let’s get straight to it - I freaking love love and I love planning. Celebrating love, planning events, and getting to meet new people is my specialty. Over 2 years, I planned my dream day and was able to plan it during a pandemic, a wedding venue move, and a Husband who wasn’t the best at making decisions (we love em, right?). People quite literally thought I was absolutely insane for actually enjoying the process and I realized that so many Brides are not enjoying the process - so, that's where I plan to step in! 

I got married to my high school sweetheart August 21, 2021. We bought our house in East Sacramento and we are working really hard to make it a space we can call home for a while! I grew up in a big family with 4 siblings which means I am loud, enthusiastic and I am always talking - hopefully you love that about me! I graduated from Sonoma State University with a Criminal Justice and Criminology major - definitely thought I’d be some hot shot lawyer like Elle Woods. Instead of that, I started MBK Makeup Artistry October 2020 and have absolutely loved every aspect of doing makeup on someone's day but have wanted to be a part of more than just the getting ready part and that's when MBK Events was formed. 

I know how overwhelming wedding planning can be, so I officially launched my business in October of 2021 so I can help other brides execute, plan, style and enjoy the wedding planning process. It is the most magical time of your life so lets make sure it feels magical all the way to the big day!
